About Capitol Cafe
Our concept was created by former State of Texas Representative Dr. Dan Huberty. He saw a need for a wonderful spot located close to the Capitol for coffee. With that Capitol Cafe came together to make this upbeat and sophisticated coffee shop come to life.
Our inspiration at our Congress Location comes from the many years Dr. Huberty served in the legislature. You will see the beautifully hand crafted tables and chairs that have the seal of Texas displayed upon them. If you take a look at the ceiling you will find another surprise that coincides with our theme. Everywhere you look there is a piece of what the Capitol has meant.
In 2025, Dr. Huberty move to do a second location and ended up at our location located on San Jacinto Blvd. With this we took inspiration with the same look of our original location with more of a focus on the industrial beauty of the Capitol grounds.
